Former Washington Redskins defensive lineman Tony McGee talks about his experience as a member of the “Black 14” during his junior year at the University of Wyoming at the Oct. 16 meeting of the Alexandria Sportsman’s Club. In 1969, McGee and 13 others were removed from the team for supporting the UW Black Students Alliance’s protest against the Mormon Church for not allowing black men to serve as priests.
